Mika gave the man and his strange Pokemon an exciting wave of their arms as they got closer. "Hey, Mister, I'm not lost! What Pokemon is this?!" Mika excitedly let out as they pointed at the strange lava creature next to him. "It's So cool! What's her name?" Mika asked the man excitedly of his partners' name. And what it is.

But before Mika could get an answer, they heard small squeaking noises approach the three of them- and suddenly, a small Noibat came out of nowhere, seemingly fleeing from a predator. Mika, not waiting for a word from the adult, started making their way to the small Noibat, Noibat startled by the child running at them- froze up-Mika yelled out "Stay in the ball if you wanna be safe!" Mika yelled out as they threw the Pokeball at the small bat Pokemon with admittedly a little too much blunt force. The tiny Pokemon, not knowing what else to do, let itself get caught, and before the ball hit the ground-Mika caught it and scuttered up a rock formation at breakneck speed for a young child. Suddenly what burst around the corner was a giant Seismitoad lumbering around looking for what Mika presumes was its prey.

The Pokeball still shook in their hands which caused the young boy to sweat out of nervousness and cover their mouth with their free hand. Hopefully, the adult man helps them if they get in trouble.

"Hehe! Thank you, Mister! And the name's Mika!"

Mika introduced themselves to the man with an excited wave of their hand with the Pokeball in hand. They were proud to have caught their first Pokemon by themselves without the help of others and by their hand.

"What's your name-whoa!"

Mika was about to ask for the name of the trainer with the Heatran, but before they could get an answer, the weirdly warm rock they had been sitting on suddenly shifted and moved about as a deep groan cried out from it and raised from the ground to reveal itself as a Pokemon. It was a Turtonator. Mika let out excited laughter as they rode on the Pokemon like a ride. "Whoa-ahahaha!" Mika laughed as they rode the fire turtle dragon as it climbed down from its sleeping spot, and it tried to get rid of the loud child on its neck.

When the horse riding Mika and the Turonator reached the sturdy ground-Mika used a Pokeball on it and tapped it in the back of the head with it. That was probably an unexpected way to catch a Pokemon. Mika rather unexpectedly landed on the ground with finesse right on their feet with the still shaking Pokeball in hand.
